Ying and Yang - Part14 The Plan

I looked at Kanda to see if he’s actually listening to my plan “Kanda…” I stared at him intensely “What?” He looked straight back at me, feeling my face getting hotter “N-Nothing!” idiotically stuttering as I tried to get myself back together “Right, you’ve noticed that the Akuma seems to use his canon less than most Akuma’s? And instead uses his ridiculously long arms?” I pointed into the direction of the Akuma, Kanda looked back at me giving me the look saying  ‘Not being funny but I already knew  that’ “So instead of trying to get his attention from one person we need to find out if he can use all of his arms simultaneously while being attacked from every direction! OF COURSE I would have tried this already but someone was jumping around like a flying squirrel!” As I said this I used my left hand to point directly at Kanda while smirking a little. “So are we going to try it out now Pandy-chan?” I completely forget about Pirate boy “Yeah, we’re going to try it out but also try something else out, that’s why I need both of your help on this”.
I sighed, placing my chin on my knuckles, looking back and forth I don’t exactly have the greatest partners’ to do this plan but it’s now or never.

“Right, While I use bloody cherry on an all assault attack I want Lavi to use his hammer to destroy the flooring underneath him to kick him off balance   while Kanda wait’s up there  on that roof ready to attack when I’ve at least done some damage to the bloody thing!”.  I looked back and forth from kanda to Lavi. “Are you guys ready?” I’m really questioning my logic right here “Tch” I guess that’ll be Kanda’s reply as a yes? “Hm, well if it doesn’t work I guess we’ll just wait for Yu to kill us, aha!” Lavi gave a grin almost impossible to be formed on a human face “Alright then”.

As we all got into our positions I confirmed with Lavi and Kanda that I would stick to using my arms  to control my Innocence to make it easier on myself as well as them to know where I’m attacking from. Both I and Lavi nodded to each other to confirm we were ready to proceed but as we both looked up at Devil himself he solemnly kept his eyes locked onto the Akuma. “Right, let’s not screw this up Pandora!” I sighed, closing my eyes and concentrating on reactivating my innocence as I re-opened my eyes I noticed a glimpse of another figure in the corner of my eye I instantly stepped back to keep myself from being noticed and began scanning the area I was in “Shit, I need to let Kanda and Pirate boy know!” As I muttered these words to myself I sent my bloody cherry into the cracks of the stone pavement, forwarding them a mental image of what I need to tell me.
As cherry descended to its first customer it began forming itself into words upon the walls next to Lavi, spelling out “Another person has appeared, I don’t know if it’s an Akuma or just another person but I can’t show myself without exposing my position” and then slivered onto its next customer, climbing up the wall towards Kanda.

“TCH, this is why I told the stupid new kid to stop acting like she knows everything, this plan isn’t going to work” Bitter words spat out of Kanda’s mouth, Just as he had said these words  Lavi appeared  behind him, still covering his position and Kanda’s “Ne, Yuu what should we do? If it is another Akuma we’re screwed and there’s no way Pandy can take it on by herself Als...” Just before Lavi could finish his sentence the Level 2 Akuma had found their hiding spot “Doesn’t matter anymore, Baka Usagi; He’s here now” Kanda launched himself into the sky descending down upon the Akuma once again.

As cherry returned a massive explosion appeared in the direction of Kanda’s where a bouts “DAMN IT!  He got caught already?! HOW crap is he at hiding?” I stumbled, forgetting all about the figure that was once plaguing my mind, I hurried across the rubble towards a now descending Kanda and a flying squirrel Pirate; As Mugen swung against the arm of the Akuma, Lavi used his hammer to send it flying into the nearest abandoned house; without thinking of a good strategy I swung my arms in the direction of the now fallen Akuma as I swung my arms up and then with lightning speed down making a devastating but effecting crushing noise. “Pandy-Chan, are you okay? Where’s the other guy?” Lavi now waving his left arm back and forth like a four year old, Remembering the real reason why I told myself not to move I quickly swung myself again scanning the surrounding to find nothing but open space and half destroyed houses which now seem lifeless and deserted I turned my head into Lavi’s direction and shouted “I don’t know, there defiantly was someone here but I don’t see them anymore, let alone sense them” After shouting I returned my sights upon the now approaching Akuma but before I could properly think of a good enough plan to not get myself killed a sudden and loud raging voice screamed into my left ear “HOW THE HELL CAN YOU LOSE SOMEONE?! WHEN YOU WERE THE ONE WHO NOTICED THEM, YOU IDIOT!” I turned with a painful look plastered upon my face.

“Nice to see you too Kanda, How have you been?  Oh, and also DON’T SCREAM IN MY FUCKING EAR YOU DICK!” I pushed kanda away from myself, making sure a big enough distance was maintained so that he couldn’t quickly swing Mugen at me and slice me into two pieces.

“Seriously, we were supposed to stick to the plan?! What were you doing?!”

“You’re plan was shit, get over it” Kanda gave a look which practically said different an almost look of plain and simple ‘I WILL DESTROY YOU’ look. Lavi came crashing down into the rubble next to me after being bitch slapped by the Akuma “Whoa, Jesus Pirate boy you can fly?” a dirty looking smirk appeared upon my face looking straight down upon Lavi “He he, Guess so? Though at least I didn’t accidently land on you this time Pandy” A cheeky sarcastic sentence spun from within his mouth, I looked at him shocked for a couple of seconds before reclaiming my usual facial expression but within in my rattling brain I told myself ‘I’d let him have that remark since it was pretty good’.

I turned my attention back to Kanda “So, OBVIOUSLY were not doing the plan but we’re going to have to work together okay? Let’s do this”.  Lavi gave a little weak nod after pulling himself out of the hole he was in and Kanda gave an irritated sigh “Cool”.

As the three exorcist figures descended down upon the Akuma the young red head swung fierce with all his power against the side of the Akuma, sending the once standing creature hurdling into the abyss of the night sky but this did not stop the creature from assaulting its own attack upon the poor boy. The young red head was slapped across the stomach which a loud contact sending him though yet another building, choking and choking the young man curled himself into a ball trying to control the excruciating pain now screaming out with every fibre in his little figure.

“LAVI!” After hearing a sudden scream the eyes of the creature now placed on a young girl with long jet black hair and striking ruby red eyes as the creature now positioned itself in a upright position in the night sky it began thinking to itself how insignificant these hideous looking creatures were, weak and fragile nothing they could do would harm him but without warned another assault appeared behind it before the creature could send its own assault upon the girl, another young man appeared Jet black hair with strikes of blue glowing in the moonlit light, grey eyes upon its own eyes showing no emotion just the aura of pure destruction. The young man swung his delicate looking sword with a striking screech upon the creature, without warning the young man disappeared as fast as he once  appeared the creature again thought to himself, Idiotic, crude, nothing could touch him.

Crash,

The creature’s eyes descended now on the glowing red spear that had suddenly pierced through his chest, IMPOSSBLE! It turned it’s almost limp less body around to see where this monstrosity came from to be confronted by the young lady, who now had a beautiful expression upon her face, her ruby red eyes swallowed the creatures view but before the darkness surrounded, the creature made sure to keep its eyes locked onto the young lady’s for a striking fear arose from the creatures dead lifeless heart.

“WE DID IT!” I screamed, jumping into Kanda’s direction hugging his shoulders.  “We actually did it Oh my gosh!” I turned around to give the same treatment to Lavi but noticed he was nowhere to be seen “Oh SHIT Lavi!” Remembering that he was sent flying into the rubble by the Akuma. I began sprinting into the direction that Lavi had landed “LAVI, are you okay?!” I crouched down on the edge of the hole Lavi now laid in. “Yep, perfect” choking in between the words “Jesus, Lavi hold on I’ll be down in a minute”.

I  began climbing down trying to be careful not to disturb the loose rubble, Kanda now stood  at the place that I’d first laid eyes on Lavi “tch, you’re useless Baka Usagi”. A chuckle rose from the ground underneath me “Cheers Yuu, That makes me feel so much better – At least I didn’t die, right?” Lavi began pushing himself into a crouching position; I could instantly notice the blood running down his right arm onto his trousers “Shit, Lavi you’re seriously bleeding”. I jumped down making sure not to land on top of Lavi or on his legs, I began scanning his injuries “We need to get you back to Willow’s house now, if you carry on bleeding like this you’ll be dead pretty soon”  

I looked up at Kanda with a pleading look and asked “Kanda, can you help Lavi get out of here? There’s no way I have the strength to”.  A quick but loud “Tch” floated out of Kanda’s mouth but before I could protest he was already in front of me “Thanks, Yuu; I really appreciate it”. Kanda balanced Lavi’s left arm around his shoulders  and began slowly pulling him up,  a loud, long grunt came from within Lavi’s Jaws  but he didn’t complain or struggle, he allowed himself to be supported by Kanda but the more Kanda levelled Kanda upon his shoulders the more blood began dripping down his arm.

“Oh shit, hold on Kanda!” Panic started to set in and Kanda could see it; I began ripping at my shorts trying to find a strand long enough for a make due bandage “This will have to do for now, Lavi but once we get to Willow’s house we’ll be able to close it up properly”. I nodded at Kanda giving him the signal to go for it; with lightning speed Kanda jumped with great force out of the hole and slammed his feet into the ground underneath him “ARGH!”  I instantly shoot up after him, looking at Lavi trying to see any more damage “We need to go NOW”.  I pointed in the direction of my Grandmother’s house and we began our journey.
